There's not enough words or phrases to describe the level of professionalism carried out by Terrell. Having known him for decades now, I'm so happy to witness the new levels he is so richly blessed to reach, with his humility and kindness. I reached out to him having come to a pivotal time in my life and desiring a new look; a makeover. He could have just humored me and done the "drastic cut" I was asking. But instead, he asked several questions about my overall well-being to make sure I wasn't making a drastic decision in haste. Many stylists are eager to chop off some hair. Not Terrell. He discussed every step of the vision he captured based on my lifestyle as well as my hair health. It turned out to be a tearful moment when he introduced the 'Kelly Cut'. All inspired by a beautiful sister who got her wings into heaven earlier this year. I didn't know her, but I felt like I knew of her through Terrell's tender heart.
He proceeded to cut, stating he was not going to cut as low as I had described and we would "see" how I liked it. It was a heart-felt time together. Like a brother in Christ, he captured every essence of how I was feeling, and therefore what would be perfect for me. He became like the Van Gough & Picasso of hair all rolled into one with his specialty shears.
Could I ever think I would get the "perfect" hair cut? There was a lot cut off, as I saw hair on the floor. But when he revealed the final product...just WOW!! The end product had so much fullness, volume and bounce. I felt renewed and was simply glowing from the inside. In the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did but people will never forget how you made them feel". I knew when I made up my mind to get my hair cut I didn't want anyone else on the planet to do it.
I could say thank you everyday for the rest of my life and it wouldn't be enough. Terrell as a man of God, as a friend as a stylist, etc. is unmatched!! His family, friends and clients are better for knowing him. I am eternally grateful, Terrell!! Many blessings
